Who We Are
Fornax Publishing is the home of Realm of Runes, a new tabletop role-playing game. Combining a wide array of character options, significant depth of mechanics, and an easy-to-understand formatting and mechanical style, Realm of Runes is easy to learn for newcomers and veterans alike. A modular approach to character building is the heart of the system, allowing for easy customization that feels meaningful and impactful. Boring-but-functional options that feel required for basic competence are not included in favor of new abilities or new ways to use existing abilities. When you build and advance a character in Realm of Runes, a sense of progression beyond the math is important.

Realm of Runes is also designed to be easy to approach from a Game Master's perspective. Easy monster and NPC creation allows for quick preparation that results in consistently appropriate challenges. Menageries of interesting monsters and first-party adventures make getting started a breeze, whether you're just learning or have plenty of experience.
